I have compiled a Norwood production calendar; it is a work in progress. The basis for it is end of month VINs Chevrolet reported for all plants. But, cars were not built in VIN order. With the help of NCRS data, it is now accurate within a day or two. Unknowns remain shutdowns, overtime [Saturdays] and exactly when the end of month VIN was recorded.
For the most part, Norwood did produce 912 Camaros per day over 2 shifts. Exceptions are August and September 1968. As of April 1969, Norwood took over Firebird production. From that point through the end of 1969 production, production was mixed. Pontiac had a different VIN sequencing and I don't know if the 912 production rate was maintained.
