GoJak - any experience?

I only have a 3 stall garage and I need to use one stall this winter. I was thinking’s about renting a storage locker for $95/mo.  Or, I think I can shove the Camaro against the wall using GoJak and that might solve my space issue issue for now.  Any experience? I keep hearing the copycat units are junk. The GoJak in a 4-pack is $900!

For your purpose, I don't know why the $100  or $130 units from Harbor Freight would not work...

If fact, if you have a floor jack, you can buy cheaper ones but you have to get the tires up off the ground before putting them to use...

    which you can buy even cheaper (~ $100 for a set)... which have worked fine for me to push cars into corners or push them sideways, etc...

Bought a 4 pack set about five years ago. I use them at least once a month to move cars around at three different storage sites. I can even move my 19 foot 40 Buick with ease.  Yes, they are expensive,  but I've never had any trouble with them and they save me a lot of time and effort. That makes them worth it to me.
I will say, however, that Gary is right about two cheaper units and a floor jack for your situation. I did that for a year before purchasing the Gojaks.  Too much work for me and my situation.

A word of caution on the type that use rollers that move closer towards each other to lift the wheel; I moved a car right up to the wall of my workshop to maximise space. I left the locking pins in the go-jaks inserted, to stop the rollers spreading (and lowering the wheel) if the hydraulic pressure dropped. A couple of weeks later, I went to move the car and found the tires had gone flat, and the rims of those wheels were touching the ground. Couldn't move the car on the castor wheels, couldn't get into the gap between wall and car to reach the pedal to pump the go-jak any higher. Had to hook up a chain and drag the car clear of the wall.
Lesson learned in that scenario - check tire pressure regularly and fix/replace leaky valve stems!

I have a set of go jacks and I think they were like 4 to 450 and dont remember where I got them. One thing I really liked, when putting an engine in and you need to move the engine a half inch on the lift, instead of feeling like the lift will tip over, you can put the car on the rollers and it moves so easy you lean on the car and everything is lined up. They are real handy.
