Thanks Rick....read through that thread and am now more confused.  The format listed in that thread would indicate that my wiper motor was built on the 309th day of 1966?  Tag mistake?  Mine is stamped as a Delco unit from Dayton, Ohio.  My car is an 09D of 1969 (269th day assembly) with 15,500 original miles.  I'm assuming this is the original wiper motor due to the mileage, but ya never know.  I am trying to validate if this thing is original to the car or not so I know if I should invest time in restoring it.

Looks to me like the wiper motor assembly # is 20043206, which doesn't match the 1969 Camaro numbers (5045572 or 5046505) so perhaps it's from a later GM model? A quick Google search just shows multiple interchanges for that assembly part #, meaning it will function with many models/years, but may not be OE as far as I can tell.
