All stereo systems included 4 speakers. The rear speakers had metal grilles painted with a suede finish. On coupes, the package tray was trimmed for the speakers. Convert speakers were mounted to the top well, facing the rear.
Cars built with the 4 speaker system did not have a center speaker in the dash. The grille was blocked with a black cardboard cover, taped to the bottom of the dash. It is shown in Section 1 page B2 of the Assembly Instruction Manual.
