Option Packages

Does anyone have any info if there were option packages on first gen Cars back in the day like there is today? or could they be ordered alacarte?
69 Z/28 Camaro LeMans Blue (Current Ground Up Restro)
68 SS Camaro L78 LeMans Blue (9977 Original Miles)(Next Ground Up Restro)
68 Z/28 RS Camaro Corvette Bronze (some where down the restro line)
68 Standard Camaro LeMans Blue (maybe a Resto Mod someday)

There were loads of options available on first gen cars. You could order them with a varying amount of options or merely purchase a dealer ordered car that was already at their showroom or rear lot. See attached CRG page that shows all the available options:

Back in those days, most of the options were available individually but of course some had prerequistes, or exclusions.

There was not the predominance of Option Packages like there are today... (today in order to get certain options, you have to order a package with several options that you perhaps would rather not have; that wasn't the case in the late sixties / early 70's.. )

Esp in 67, there were some packages of options that you could order (e.g. convenience package). But all were also available separately.
