Block stamped V1105DZ: looks nothing like the Nov '68 examples I have.

From the ad: It is a very early November 1968 Norwood built car pre (X-coded) that maintains it original matching numbers Dz 302.

Restamped, I'd bet. Too close to the head - had to be stamped with the head off the engine IMO.

Could you actually have ordered N66 wheels on a Z to begin with ? I would have thought 14 X 7's would be a step down from the 15" YH's.

No wheel options for '69 Z/28. All built with 5 15 x 7 rally wheels.

This car, built early Nov '68, would have had AD wheels.

There are other obvious things incorrect with the car, but a personel favorite is the "caution fan" sticker. That is the proverbial cherry on the top of the sundae of a run of the mill resto job for me... ;D
