This picture was posted over on the Yenko site and I found it very interesting. I know it has been discussed here before as to whether some of the bell housings could have been completely painted as mentioned by JM in the past.
Check out the bell housings painted in this 1970 picture. It seems that it varied from almost none to pretty much completely painted. Notice the differences between the big blocks and small blocks.
Darrell can you bring the picture over to this thread please?

Notice the exhaust manifolds are installed after paint vs Ton painting the engines with manifolds installed.N
