67 lower steering column.
« on: September 25, 2017, 01:06:48 AM »
While monkeying around with the lower  steering column on my 67, a keeper popped off and I'm having trouble figuring out how it goes back in. I'm almost certain it somehow goes about 5 inches aft of the gearbox, locking in the nut which is on what appears to be plastic threads. I've searched the web with minimal results. I'm hoping someone has a pic of how it goes. Thanks.

I tried to post a pic but the file was too large. I believe it to be a retaining clip for the spindle nut that holds in the bearing through the firewall.
