My 69 Camaro has an 08E (69) on the Fisher body plate & the finish date according to NCRS is August 28th 1969. The 5th week of August started Sunday the 24th. Could a Camaro be built in this short of time or am I missing something here? Thank you, Joe
From this site, under "Assembly Process" : "The assembly process naturally breaks down into several major departments on both the Fisher and Chevrolet sides of the operation; a brief sequential description follows, then we'll examine each one in detail. It took about
two days (four shifts) for a body to go through the Fisher Body system, and another
day and a half (three shifts) to go through the Chevrolet system." - J. Hinkley
Not sure what you are asking, but I don't see anything abnormal. Your car was started on the 5th week of August and finished on the 5th week of August. What does not jive??
