Want a good laugh?
« on: December 12, 2016, 05:26:31 PM »
Check out THIS PIECE OF WORK! VIN is 124378N479990 and doing a Google search shows a TON of hits!!

Reproduction window sticker showing Matador Red and black interior while the trim tag shows Ash gold and gold interior. Rally Sport? I don't think so!

As Captain Kirk would say

SO (short pause) MANY THINGS (long pause) WRONG!!

Boy, someone better do their homework on this one!

Yeah, I guess that makes up for the fake glove box sticker!

I didn't know that it was anything of value to state something like 'same Texas owner for last 11 years'.
Heck, if that boast is something of value to selling a car then I should be getting them to pick the lint from between my toes when I state something like
'same Long Island owner for the last 37 years'    8)

Be easier to list what is OK vs. all the not correct stuff. Man what a joke! Kurt had put it on Team Camaro this morning and that is where I first saw it.

Could just be a dealer with little or no First Gen Camaro knowledge. Or someone trying to mislead potential buyers. Hoping it's the former and not the latter.

Bidding ended at $22,402 without even getting close to reserve of $62,895.

At least this round of bidders didn't get fooled.

The only positive thing I'll say here is that the '68s are great looking cars and get treated like a red-headed stepchild. I personally like them, just not THIS one!
