Decoding, is emerald turquoise a rare color?
« on: September 03, 2016, 05:14:24 PM »
I am needing help with this. I think I have it figured out. My uncle said that my color is rare. And it looks like mine was built in March. Are these two things important and true that it's rare? I'm new to this and younger, I'm learning. I was going to sell it Bc I don't have time to fix it. Would rather sell it to someone looking for the numbers I have. I'm trying to post a pic, but having trouble.

JPEG file size must be 200 kb or smaller to post.  Maximum per post is 4 images, with total size 500 Kb or less.

Tell us what you have, what car, year, any 'numbers' you want to post and maybe someone can comment...

I know the 3C means the month and week
I know the LOS mean Van Nays
I know the K-K means it was not a convertible and was emerald turquoise

My uncle is into cars and said that I might have a unicorn on my hands and I wasn't sure.
Something about how young the car was in the production line and the color.
Like I said, I am new to this.
Im learning
But the guy before me changed some stuff.
New engine, 350 truck engine, and back Corvette tires, but all the rest is original

It has a '69 cowl induction hood on it...   I'm not a '67 connoissier, but I'm going to TRY to decode your cowl:

W      -     tinted windshield (only)

2 SR  -     U73 - manual antenna -rr, and U 80, rear speaker

3 K     -    Z21 exterior moulding group

K-K     -    Emerald Turquoise (top and bottom)

760-Z  -    Black Standard A50 strato bucket seats (no headrests)

The rear spoiler was added, the exterior chrome is missing and the big rally wheels added.

Here is an estimate of percentages for each color. Certainly not a common color.

There were 15 regular colors, plus the special paint option. So it's not all that common. I don't know what the exact percent is but probably less than 1 out of 20 for 67 Camaros. Certainly even fewer left today.
