I have a '68 RS believed to be numbers matching.  It is a 327.  Per your suggestion, here is a picture.  I am looking for any information one may have on S&R Chevrolet formerly in Mason City, Iowa.

Nice 68. What size wheels and tires are those?

Hopefully somebody has some info on that dealership.

Did you get the NCRS shipping report on the car and that showed as the original dealer?

Yes, I have the NCRS info.  Regarding the wheel size and tires, 225/50R-17 and 255/50R-17XL.

I  had a conversation with a relative of an owner of S&R Chevrolet.  It was a family owned business that was sold in 1980 as the original owners passed on.  I now have confidence that the dealership info provided by NCRS is accurate.  My concern had been that I could only find S&R Chevrolet ads up to 1966 in a Mason City newspaper.  Many thanks to the secretary of the C.L.A.S.S. Car Club in Clear Lake, Iowa for his help.
