1969 Convertible Rear Wiring
« on: December 05, 2015, 10:58:43 PM »
Car has been apart far too long. Have questions on the rear wiring. Does the wiring for the convertible top motor go under the rear seat backing or on top and is hidden by the well liner ? And does the wiring for the lights, etc go over the rear wheel well and where does it clip into ? There is one clip on it before the connector. Thanks

Here's a couple of pics from when I took my car apart.  The wires come down the drivers side, with, but not a part of the rear wiring harness.  Then they travel up the rear seat separator and around the back.  The conv. top wires go to the motor between the two pieces of the seat separator to the motor.  The ground wire is screwed to the front side.  The rear wiring harness travels straight back to the connector for the tail panel harness.
