Paul - just came across your posting of this engine being for sale on eBay 4 years ago.  Curiously this engine is now in my 1969 Z/28.  My knowledge of the engine is it was purchased by someone near Houston, TX for his 1968 Z/28, he sold it to someone in MO. where it was rebuilt and placed in the vehicle I own. The older Ebay links above does not display any photos so I requested them from the seller....hopefully he responds.  Great info for my vehicle history file.

Interesting!  Although not the original car, I'm glad the engine ended up in a '69 Z28.
