My 2 old Camaro's vin's
« on: December 05, 2015, 07:23:17 PM »
I had 2 1969 Camaro's in the mid '70's.
1. a Z/28 silver w/black standard interior, cowl hood, rear spoiler
2. a standard coupe, 327, 4 speed, blue at the time but I believe it began life as orange

Going through some of my mom's old paperwork, I just found the 2 vins: 124379n504656 & 124379n700084.

I believe the later vin was the Z/28 based on the subject matter of the paperwork.

Hope the cars are still out there!
If the 327 was original to the car, it would have to be the early car and the Z the late-build (as you suggest) because the 327 was replaced with the 307 as the base V8 around January 1969.
