U17 Wiring

On the U17 console, I know that the oil line runs under the carpet, question, does the wiring harness from the dash harness also run under the carpet?

This post from TC shows the routing under the carpet.......http://www.camaros.net/forums/showpost.php?p=2959065&postcount=921.  This is how the wiring on my original 07C is also routed. 

The console harness comes down from the main harness, above the accelerator pedal, and bends to the right and goes under the carpet as then shown in the photo in the link above.

As far as I've been able to determine, 68's went under and 69's over the carpet.

Mine is a 68 and have seen it both ways. Not sure which was correct.

Maybe Tim but it might have also been different from console gages or just console. Friends 68Z with console gages goes in on top but the carpet was cut.
