Fuses were color-coded starting in 1967, using a colored strip INSIDE the glass tube (reproductions have a colored band around the OUTSIDE of the glass), and were coded as follows:
4-amp: pink
10-amp: red
20-amp: no color
25-amp: white
30-amp: green
Fuses came already in the fuse block from Packard Electric, except for options that had their own fuse - those were installed at the car assembly plants.
My 02D '69Z still has five of its original color-coded fuses.
