Reattaching Harrison Radiator Tag

Might be a dumb question but I am looking for suggestions to permanently reattach my Harrison radiator tag.  The original tag had a small tang on it made of spring steel that has broken off.  The radiator is now installed in the car so I really do not want to remove it.  Do you think some JB Weld would hold it?  It is a UI tag that isn't being reproduced and not sure if the vendors would do a custom tag.

 A dab of JB Weld will certainly work.

If you don't want it to fall off and be lost, I'd suggest careful cleaning and use of an appropriate metal ADHESIVE rather than JB weld.   I consider JB weld to be a 'metal filler' as opposed to an adhesive?   Your experience may differ.

An alternative might be to have a new tag made which matches your original tag, attach the new tag per factory specs, and KEEP the original tag in your glove compartment or console?

I haven't dealt with anyone making such tags, but a quick search online yielded this ad....

PS.  your issue with having the original tag (broken) is the BEST possible reason for a reproduction tag (IMO), but unless you are entering the car into concours level judging, it's probably an unnecessary expense.  Casual observers would not likely notice that your radiator tag is missing...          Just keep the broken tag in your glove compartment or console (to show anyone interested)

Try The Parts Place, Inc. I don't know if they do custom tags, but the tag for my '70 Chevelle LS5 auto w/ A/C I bought from them was spot on. Maybe if they don't manufacture them, they can hook you up with the manufacturer they use -

Originally, most (that survive) were soldered in place. A dab of weatherstrip adhesive will hold it in place....
