Or does the rest of the matching drivetrain, VIN tag, and Protecto Plate come with it as a 'do one up yourself package'?

I think there might be a bit of 'blue sky' in the pricing of what is basically a short block.  But maybe the owner of the car this came from might think otherwise.

Perhaps my point was not clear. The last VIN on record from LOS is: 8L349164

VIN 8L382665 was never produced (unless there was some very odd anomoly). The car does not exist, therefore there is no owner of the car that would be willing to pay such an inflated price.

Now I see what you're saying, you didn't use the quote function above. 

It probably is a stamping error. Happens alot when you're building 560 cars a day!
