Fall Charlotte Autofair, September 18 - 21

An offer: If you are active on this forum and do plan to come to the Fall Charlotte Autofair, I'll be happy to send you two tickets (as in "vendor" tickets for the entire Autofair). PM me with your real name and mailing address. I'll send the tickets to you when they come available in September. (You will NOT be placed on any soliciting list.) If you have gotten tickets from me in the past, I still need you to let me know you are coming, so PM your name and address, as well.

Unlike the Spring event, there is no AACA meet that Saturday.  Instead, there will be an HNR regional show, which will allow some modified cars. (Yes, it is a new day....) And there will be approximately 25 other clubs showing during the event, as well. (Most of them on Saturday and Sunday.)

Several on this forum from the greater Charlotte area are in local Camaro/Chevy clubs and will be there on the weekend.  How about you guys posting here what days you will be there, what car you are bringing, and which club?

And if you have a CRG shirt, wear it!  It is a great way to pick a fellow CRG-er out of the crowd.

BTW, a local restorer reminded me that if you pre-order from a vendor and pick up at an event like this, you can save about 20%. 

Who will be at Autofair with Camaro clubs, etc???

For those who are coming, all the Camaro clubs have initially been assigned spots on pit road this year. Prime location, but possibly very hot if it is sunny.

Glad to do it. Looks like there will be a dozen CRGers there on Saturday.
The long range forecast is good except for late Saturday thunderstorms. It always pays to get there in the morning, anyway.

My husband Bill and I are bringing our '69 and '11 to show with GM Toyz.  Also planning to go Friday and visit the vendor and swap meet areas. I have my shopping list ready to go and the hunt for parts is almost as fun as finding them.  Jennifer

Vendors are setting up. There is a good forecast moving into the weekend.
