Does any know where to get more info on the meaning of all the numbers on my block not the casting number or date code but all the other number all over the block like gm18 and others

I think maybe the guys over at ncrs.org may have that information.

The other numbers are pretty much meaningless in terms of identifying the block - most of them are foundry pattern numbers, used for tracing back any problems that appeared during machining.
