A friend has a mostly original 68 327 with working factory air he is considering removing. What do you guys think the whole set up would bring. All parts, brackets, pulleys, switches, ect.?

Just food for thought.  I had a complete system , minus the box and evap core for sale yesterday and I didnt have the first looker..  I also have a 68 compressor and dryer with brackets and have not had one person looking for a setup.  Your guesstimate is as good as mine.  I would say $2-300ish.. ???  Maybe more maybe less.  I know there is a box on epay right now and they have it starting at $500 with 0 bids..

Do an advanced search and check the sold box and then do a search to see what items have sold for in the past.   8)

Hmmmm....did your friend get this from his neighbor who was the original owner and is red with a black top by chance?

Just curious,

Grumble Grumble.........

I am going to have to Emmigrate to the USA........So many bits........ just down the road......

My car is/was an air car until someone in the last 40 odd years decided to weld up the firewall and fit a normal heater.
Problem is the fresh air flap in the wiper scuttle was also welded up so to fix it is a major engine out, dash out job.
I have managed to scrounge up all of the engine bay items from a bloke here that was making a drag car but still need all the interior parts, especially the inside heater box and vent parts, prefereably free.....or cheap......hint hint.
I occasionally locate bits on the web but for not may peopple in the USA are prepared to ship down here.
I would love to get everything back to how it should be then fit the AC delete kit from the likes of Classic Industries.
I know it sounds stupid, changing it back then not using it but at least then I would have an opoerational ventilation system with the option of fittng the AC back in when or if I sell.

Kelly, have a chat to your friend or if anyone else has bits could you let me k now.

Sorry to hijack your post Kelly.
