Yes rear antenna takes preference over spoilers, if you ordered both you got the antenna and no spoiler.

Actually, if you ordered both, the order would have been rejected at the order edit stage at the Zone, and returned to the dealer for correction and re-submission.

Thats interesting... The story I received about the low mile early Z28 I have is that the spoiler was ordered, when it was delivered and wasn't so equipped so the dealer installed it one after delivery. Could have been the dealer didn't tell the customer about the lack of harmony in regards to the order and just added it.

Does your car have both the rear antenna and rear spoiler?   Does the spoiler his the antenna when the trunk is raised?

Becomes second nature moving antenna to one side before opening/closing trunk. I was told spoiler was installed at dealer , had assumed it was over the counter. My thoughts have changed per JohnZ's response about priority in assembly.

I bought a SS in 1979. It had the rear antenna and spoiler. I was 16 at the time and didn't even keep any info on the car. I believe it was an early production. The interesting thing is it was the short spoiler. I don't recall it ever hitting the antenna. No idea of when or where the spoiler was installed.
