This forum is for foreign assembly of Camaros, but I just viewed a video of a barn find (26 old cars in Denmark) which noted that even as far back as
Model A (Ford) days, it was a standard practice to ship the complete parts list of parts from the US to foreign assembly plants (to satisfy trade and tax laws)..

Note: In most modern times, that process has worked in the other direction, as the first Japanese cars assembled in the US were assembled from parts shipped from Japan (thru Hong Hong to skip taxes in both the US and Japan)...
