Question about Restoration

I was trying to find out if the Insulation stuck to the inside of the roof is asbestos or not ? I have read other post and really no concrete answer. Does anybody know where i can find this information? I'm completly redoing the car and want to do the job right.  Thanks.

I recall a post on Camaros.Net a few years back where a member there had the material checked and it DID NOT have asbestos. However, this is just what I had read there and did not see any conclusive reports

It's just me but I don't care right or wrong I wouldn't put asbestos in the car. I don't think anybody will pull your headliner and inspect the sound deaden-er anyway.  A guy pointed something out and told me it wasn't right. I told him to buy the car and he can do anything he wants to with it. Anyway I used Dyna-Liner and it works great.

Thanks for the info. I thnik I read the same thing not long ago. It can wait though there is plenty of stuff to do on the car. Thanks again.
