Restoration / Re: 69 "Door Window Guides"

For anyone who comes across this question in the future – putting my 69 Camaro back together after years of disassembly and installing new glass, I was unable to get the driver’s side glass to seal firmly against the top weatherstrip and quarter glass. I didn’t have any issues on the passenger side. I discovered the driver’s side was missing both the front and rear guides (I think a better description is to call them skid plates). These pieces don’t generally show up in catalogs as part of the window mounting hardware and aren’t obvious because they’re a bit hidden in the door sheet metal. They are attached with two sheet metal screws in predrilled holes under the felt. I found that without them the other adjustment/alignment points didn’t work adequately. I bought the pair new from heartbeatcitycamaro.com for about $25
