I  had a conversation with a relative of an owner of S&R Chevrolet.  It was a family owned business that was sold in 1980 as the original owners passed on.  I now have confidence that the dealership info provided by NCRS is accurate.  My concern had been that I could only find S&R Chevrolet ads up to 1966 in a Mason City newspaper.  Many thanks to the secretary of the C.L.A.S.S. Car Club in Clear Lake, Iowa for his help.

Yes, I have the NCRS info.  Regarding the wheel size and tires, 225/50R-17 and 255/50R-17XL.

I have a '68 RS believed to be numbers matching.  It is a 327.  Per your suggestion, here is a picture.  I am looking for any information one may have on S&R Chevrolet formerly in Mason City, Iowa.

I got the NCRS info and it started me on a trail I am really enjoying.  Found out my numbers matching  '68 RS 327 was shipped to S&R Chevrolet in Mason City, Iowa.  Now I am having a reproduction window sticker made with accurate options and pricing.  The dealer is out of business but I have some of their news ads located on Newspapers.com.  All very fun!  By the way, my hat's off to those of you who created and maintain this site.  It's fantastic!
