General Discussion / Hole by ignition switch?
« on: October 09, 2013, 06:21:03 PM »
I have a 67 Camaro and I have a question about the dashboard. I have a hole to the right of the steering column and below the iginition switch. I was wondering if anyone knows that this may be for? I wondered if there is a possibility that it may have been for a manual choke cable as the carb does not have an electric choke. I know the original engine has been replaced with what I was told is a 350 V-8 from a 69 Chevelle so I am not sure what this hole may have been used for. At the top of the right side of the steering column is where a cigarette lighter / power supply is located, then the next item down is the iginition switch, and this hole. On the left side of the column is the light switch and the windshield wiper control.
I am anxious to learn what this hole is for and I have not been able to locate any pictures of a 67 dashboard to see if that would help.
