Scrutinizing eyes will note the autometer fuel gauge(the old SW never worked right, discovered wrong ohm, dealer screw up) and the 69 shifter boot,,I just like the look. The vintage Hurst us getting shelved.
Use your old carpet to get in the ball park for measurement.
Can always trim off,,can't add. Cook inspires me to post,,lol!

👍on the ACC two piece.
Probably one of the easier tasks. Leave all the bolts in for reference. White marker and a solder iron. Heavy duty shop scissors and razor blades. Weights. there are some good write ups on the site. "Carpet installation"

Just throwing it out there: have somebody ride behind you to see what, if any, color smoke out the exhaust. When it dies, don't try to start, pull and read the plugs,,lean vs. rich condition. Does it die or fall on it's face pulling a holeshot?

Mine is for certain smooth.
That being said, very little in the suede finish on the dash. Never even noticed until reading on this site. Then it was like oh yea,now I see it,,,trace. 04d Norwood car.

You probably already know, but you can utilize the two screws underdash (ash tray mount) for your gauge bracket. Very secure. I'll send you a pic how they mounted the tac in place of the fuel gauge,,,in 68. Very simple and I like it anyway. Lose the amp gauge, throw a 0-90 ohm fuel gauge in it's place. Just an opinion, the way I like it set up.
