I wonder if the 270 coil is shorter to fit under the induction  air cleaner?

A week ago I posted that NCRS sent me my car dealer #166 in zone#35. they had no info on that dealer #. During an extensive on-line search I found on
www.drnew.com and one other site that a "Judge Chevrolet" and sometime after added olds and geo to there name. It was a 60s thru 80s dealer changing to "Beacon Chevy" after that, going out of business around 2000 in Hightstown NJ. This dealership name would fit perfectly before "June Chevrolet" that was dealer #167. I even have a pic. of it before it was recently torn down and rebuilt as part of a strip mall area. Any thoughts on this. Any one from that area? Thanks, Gary.

Thank you very much Warren.  Is your list from the 1969 era?  Maybe I can still find a list with 166 on it.

What do you mean "to low of a stock ride height?"  It is perfect!
And the cowl tag is clear as a bell!

Maintenance / Re: Sticky Throw out bearing?
« on: June 30, 2013, 12:03:24 PM »
I had the same problem. In my case the clutch fork bearing retainer was not riveted on the fork correctly. It was not letting the bearing center itself over the tranny output shaft, adding a lot of side pressure. As I worked the clutch during driving the bearing would really heat up. When I tore it down to find the problem the bearing was ready to fall apart from wear.
Not sure of the brand of fork but it was after market so there are more out there!

Hey Jimmy V. if you happen to do a compression test or vacuum ck. I would love to know what #s you get. I have those rockers and I only have 7.5 inches of vacuum. I would like to eliminate them being the culprit. Everything else has been done! Thanks, Gary (myty)
