Hi,

Anyone have an exploded view of standard seat belt buckles and /or how they go together? Specifically the little bar under the release button. Does it just sit there under the button ? Is there a notch it fits in ? Any help would be most appreciated!!!!

Daniel,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.  What I used was #3 soft metal cleaning compound first and then switched to the #5 high gloss polishing compound. Both came from my local Lowes.

Daniel,

I got it @ Lowes ( of all places ) I just got your reply & I'll go out to my shop tonight and see the exact name of the 2 polishes I used. If that will be helpful I'll be glad to do it.

Daniel,

I just did this to my 67 camaro. Get a grinder and put a polishing wheel on it. Then get a couple of sticks of polishing compound, one cleaner & one final polish, and CAREFULLY go to work. The original stuff polishes out to a brilliant shine!

General Discussion / Re: 67 CAMARO REAR WINDOW DEFOST SWITCH
« on: December 10, 2009, 04:38:31 AM »
Thanks Mark,

I figured it had some type of bezel like goes around the light switch  so it would blend in with the other switches. Especially since the knob on the switch itself looks just like the light switch & wiper switch. But just a jam nut huh? Thanks again !

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a pic of a rear window defroster switch for a 67 camaro ?  I have the switch but I believe it is supposed to have a bezel of some type that goes on the outside of the dash. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi,

Where did you get those disc brake looking shields ? A set of those would look GREAT on my '67 Camaro.

Don't want to make one to turn my standard 67 to a z-28 or anything, just the correct info to go with my stuff. I have the one that goes to my grandfather's 68 camaro, but it's not correct of course. I have a standard model, an RS & a SS350, like I said just want to have the plates made with the correct info for each car. There is a guy on Ebay that will make them for like $300 per plate but I tink that is kinda steep so if anyone can tell me what kind of imprinter was used for this I would be most appreciative.......

Just curious. Thought I might make 1 for each of my 3 67 Camaro's and my brother's 69 Camaro

Does anybody know what kind of imprinter was used to print the 65 - 72 protect o plates ? I know it was some kind of addressograph machine, but I'm looking for the specific model #.

Thanks,
Todd

CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE CORRECT MEASUREMENTS FOR PLACEMENT OF THE DELUXE FRONT BUMER GUARDS ON A 67 CAMARO? THE ASSEMBLY MANUAL IS PRETTY VAGUE.
