ok,how does the switch get a signal, does the plunger under the presure switch move back and forth in the casting? were in the part number located on the block? each of my blocks seem to have different sized holes in the brass seat inserts? so did drum and disc cars have the same block?? and i do have the block on the frame rail going to the rear brakes.. thanks for the reply..troy

i have what looks like a deep groove bbc cast iron pulley. and i don't have any books to look it up. i think it was off a 67 chevy i had about 35yrs ago. ?????????????? it was a 396 425hp if i remember right. any way, here is the number let me know what you think..3863108[8m]or [bm]. are the last two digits, im not sure whitch is whitch. let me know what you think..thanks troy

ok, i have three different brake proportioning valves[the main 5 port one]. one is stamped 43 and 37. and the other one is not readable. does anyone know whitch one is correct for the 69 z28. and is there a test for a good valve if its working right..the repos don't look right so i do not want to get one if don't have to..let me know your ideas..thanks troy

i just checked and this is a "309" master cylinder. and napa said no parts can be found. so if someone knows of the proper part number rebuild kit,and were to find it.. please let me know..thanks

well i run into another problem. i took my master cylinder into the local napa for a rebuild. they sent it in, and it came back "not rebuildable" it is the bendix style. the rebuild shop said they cannot get parts. has anyone got any ideas !?

ok guys, i just picked up one of two blocks i bought from a buddy 2 years ago. that he has been storing for me. IT HAS A VIN ON IT!. so i figured i better post it just in case the car is still alive... T0616JH now for the funny part, the vin: 19W530172. I COULD NOT FIND A "W" IN ANY OF MY BOOKS. were is it from?! any idea's ..............thanks guys

i have the power steering pump, but the box is what is messing me up. does the z28 also have a different idler arm? i was confused what a pitman arm was. i undestand now that it is the arm on the steering box i thought it was the the other arm, known to me now as the idler arm. is the box a close ratio, what is lock to lock turning rate? let me know your thoughts

well my car was a BERGER CHEVROLET car. it has the correct rose wood radio delete. but the heater could, and may have been a add on. there were several other gm hot rod parts on the car. thanks for the info

ok, i dismantled my sub-frame several years ago and 2 houses moves ago. now i have been orginizing all my parts only to find i have several power steering units in the same crate. help! whitch is whitch? how can i tell the difference! i have bought all new suspension peices including a new pitman arm. do i understand correctly that a z has a different pitman arm and steering arm on the box? let me know your thoughts... thanks troy
