Decoding/Numbers / 1969 norwalk x44 camaro seeking decoding help

I just got my car this summer at the end of St Ignace have tried to find details on originality
 have found color interior stripes ect...... having trouble figuring out original motor by x44 tag.
 has original 4 on the floor  any direction would be great
