Ever consider doing a preservation on the car? Looks like it'd be an amazing candidate.
Thanks, I pretty much have left it as is, other than use vinegar to get the mice smell out of the trunk. I still have 3 of the original tires (they were used only on the front of the car as the back always had H series poly. I had it at chevy vette fest once (vintage/survivor display) before that show became MCACN. It was always kept in a barn on a carpeted dirt floor in Wisconsin and it has no rust. The original owner poured motor oil in the back wheel wells from inside the trunk to prevent rust. I am sure I will wipe off more of the bottom of the car once I get my 2 post lift working. The engine compartment could use a dust rinse off probably from the farm it was kept at most of its life.
I need to learn more about whether all/some Camaros have this writing on the firewall, if its on the cowl tag for black body, black v top, then why write BLACK on the firewall? Could it be something for a black tail panel car? or painted bumper?.
