Replacing my lower radiator hose and noticed it can be installed either way. Which end goes to the pump?
I'll post a pic or two but can't find any good pics. Its a repop hose I bought from Pacecar Jeff.

Walt
I have a Penske battery style unit that I tried a couple of times to calibrate and use, seem to remember it was very inaccurate.
Could not find replacement parts for the tailpipe sensor.
Gave up on the idea and welded bungs on both sides running a dual wideband. Super accurate and easy to tune with.

C. Nice car very original! My buddy in High School had one just like it!
As for that seat I believe I would try and repair, a good competent interior shop could do that.
Beautiful car that just needs driven!

Love the Trans Am and have driven a RA IV one. Would definitely take the Trans Am. I remember the variable ratio steering being exceptionally quick, the car being very neutral & responsive, as compared to my 69 SS Camaro. Have not driven an Eliminator but have seen a few up close, one was here in town for a very long time but haven't seen it in years. Nice looking cars but the Trans Am had torque and handled very well.

Hank;
 Seems some vehicles have a problem with a breakerless without a filter? See here; http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=8132.0. I like the stock points plus its way easier to set them up on my Sun distributor machine with points. I don't have the set-up for breakerless for my distributor machine.

I'm still running stock points, seems my stock tach didn't like the Lectric-Limited breakerless setup. Consistently off on rpm.

Chuck; Aren't the 3830711 chevy steel gaskets .021"? If so that would be ideal at .022" in the hole. I was .018" in the hole and went with .028" gaskets. Runs great at 12.5-13.5 afr no detonation.

John;
Had a similar problem ended up replacing the main harness. I never tore into the harness to identify the problem but would bet it was at the fuse block power bus. I'd concentrate there and the terminals internal to the fuse block body.  I would take a look here;http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=13762.15

Allen so the resistance wire to the Petronix is in place? The hot 12V wire from the starter to coil is intact? If I remember correctly Petronix units caused stock tach issues but starting issues would only be if its not wired correctly for cranking voltage to coil. I would recheck the Petronix set-up requirements for your unit.

Are you running with the exhaust crossover open? I block mine with a piece of steel sheet. Often wondered why anyone leaves the crossover open. I bend the choke rod to run full open and it looks stock but I don't have 400 degree exhaust heat running under the carb.
Just wondering what others do.

Interesting nothing listed in the 1967-69 Camaro Cooling Systems section. What changed after Dec 17, 1968?
The AIM lists the part numbers as 3937780, 3937782, and 4939899; the service part was 3937781.
