Those charts are a perfect example showing how the GM service organization collapsed multiple production part numbers into more common use service part numbers over time.  The first chart is from 1969 and carries a more diverse listing of part numbers, but still not all of the production numbers used in the factories.  The second chart is from 1971 and the consolidation of multiple part numbers into one part number has already started.  If you followed the chart out later in time, you would probably find only 2 or 3 springs that would service all 67 to 69 Camaros.

Research Topics & Reports / Re: 69 decklid emblem holes
« on: April 16, 2008, 10:26:10 AM »
My 04L Pacecar has both sets of emblem holes, and the TA style (4 large holes to mount the Trans Am Spoiler) inner trunk structure.

No Z11/Z10s were being made by the time the D80 code was added to the tag.

Single fuel line and an X11 code means its not an SS.  Could be a 307/200Hp base coupe with style trim, or an L65 350/250HP car with style trim.  Could be an RS but doesn't have to be.  Since its not going to be an SS or Z28 the cowl hood was not available.  Could have black D90 of DX1 stripes, but they would have to have been ordered as an option and not included on the car as part of an other RPO.

General Discussion / Re: needing title help desperately in Texas

If you apply for a lost title it's going to come with the last titled owners name on it.  Won't do you anygood unless your planning on forging a signature on it to make it look like you bought it from that person.

What does the paperwork for the house say?  Any mention of the car, specifically by its VIN?

Since it doesn't have an engine code in the 4th option group if its an 8 cylinder car (4 in the 3rd position of the VIN) it will either be a base 327/210Hp (2 barrel) LF7 base engined car, or possibly a 327/275HP (4 barrel) L30 car.  I beleive that when your car was made, the L48 (350/295HP) SS was using  the 4P code, but I've been wrong on 67 stuff before, since I have a 69.

Dealer added rear spoilers can sometimes be identified by raising the trunk lid and looling at the underside of the trunk lid.  Often you can see where the factory Camaro emblem on the trunk lid was removed prior to the dealer installing the rear spoiler.  Often the original mounting holes for the Camaro emblem (although filled) can still be made out.

All factory spoiler cars have two sets of emblem mounting holes on the trunklid, the originals and the set that was drilled with the same tooling that drilled the spoiler mounting holes.  At most the original holes got a peice of tape placed over them before the spoiler was mounted.

Originality / Re: 1969 SS 350 10 bolt rear end
« on: March 04, 2008, 01:05:21 AM »
If it had a powerglide transmission,then its possible for it to have a 10 bolt axle otherwise it should have a 12 bolt.  Look under the car.  All SS's (except the L78 which won't have a 10 bolt axle) have two fuel lines, a larger 3/8"line and a smaller 5/16" return line.  Of course it should also have power front disc brakes, 5 leaf rear springs, etc.

Only problem with that theory is that NOR and LA body numbers started at 000001 in 1967, not 100001.

Spring chart is an attachment to one of my posts on Page 2 of this thread

http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=2684.15

YF is a 69 Z28 front spring for a car with 0-48 lbs of options.  Z28s used YF, EY, and YH front springs, and BM springs on the rear.

General Discussion / Re: 69 radio delete heater delete
« on: February 11, 2008, 03:28:43 AM »
Radio delete is not an option.  The radio itself was an option, so the delete plate wouldn't show up on a window sticker .  No continental US delivered cars came without a heater.  Only Canada, Hawaii, Alaska and overseas built cars could come that way.  The option itself was RPOC48

You have some typos in your tag info.  Here's my best guesses at the incorrect info.  (body number, 2W 2C)

1 = Chevrolet
2 = Camaro
4 = 8-cylinder engine
37 = coupe body
7 = 1967 model year
N = Norwood, OH assembly plant

Decode for body number: 054401

12C = Built the Third week of December.

NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio.
760 = Standard Black Bucket Seats.
Z = (A50) Strato Bucket Seats.
Y-2 = Lower Color is Butternut Yellow and the Vinyl Top Color is Black.
E = Interior paint is Black
Options:

1L = (A67) Fold-down rear seat
2E = (C60) Air Conditioner
2M = (M35) Powerglide Transmission
2G = (D55) Console front compartment
2S = (U73) Antenna Manual right rear

There are dimples in the rear seat support that indicate where the cardboard boxes are attached to the structure of the car.

Originality / Re: Do BB and SB radiators use the same mounting holes?
« on: December 31, 2007, 03:15:40 PM »
There are two sets of mounting holes on the drivers side of the core support.  The small block radiator bolts to the pair closest to the large opening in the core support, the big block radiator bolts to the pair that are further fron the opening.  Both radiators bolt to the same pair of holes on the passenger side.
