Just checked my car and it has two different head markings on the dog bone bolts - driver side is 'RSC' and passenger side has the Elco "fluttering flag" symbol.
Haven't seen your 'LE' marking before, but it may be worth checking this loooooong thread:

Restoration / Re: Reproduction 2 piece rotor review

Good to know they fit! Did you re-use the original SAE, or the new metric bolts to mount the repro rotor on the original hub? Just wondered if the bolts are the same length.

Don't follow the '68 numbers as much as '69, but the gap between the 'L' and '3' in the partial VIN is unusual.

Great info John. Could you please clarify if the 2 shift lines were concurrent, operating on the same start/end times? I guess I just assumed 2 shifts at the engine assembly plant meant a day and a night shift, not 2 day shifts.

It's a shame when they feel it necessary to list under 'Highlights':
"Original trim tag"

I think it's a genuine stamp, but the degree of pitting/weathering makes it hard to be sure. The LOS partial is consistent with a few others I have from the same timeframe, although those have been 618 casting blocks, but the 2 missing digits..... perhaps those were more worn than others in the gang stamp and ended up lightly impressed?

Some other brands used a single long rubber sleeve, rather than the 2 short ones referred to above for Camaro coupes.

Thanks for the great pictures Steve, that confirms what I had figured out as correct for the underhood lamp.
