Originality / 1968 front bumper
« on: October 15, 2017, 05:58:28 PM »
I tried doing some searching before I posted this.
If you had a 1968 front bumper with only the specific holes required for a 68, would I be correct to assume that it is a GM bumper? On the same note, if you had a 1967 front bumper with the 1967 specific holes, would that be safe to say it's GM? My thoughts are that the aftermarket might have added all the 67/68 holes to only have one bumper replacing two....Joe

Does anybody know anything about these rotors? The vendor doesn't know if they're ductile or gray iron. 100.00 per pair. Thanks, Joe

Originality / 1969 4 row curved neck radiator
« on: August 28, 2017, 04:22:06 PM »
Is there somewhere I can get the factory specs on this radiator core. Like how many rows, fins per inch. I might need to replace the core & it doesn't have the original core now. I don't want to order a wrong core. Thank you, Joe

I just purchased another trunk lid for my car. It appears to have factory paint on the bottom side with jacking instructions 3949515. Why is it blue? The lid is dated TA25...Joe

Originality / Radiator baffle 69 SS396 with C60
« on: June 23, 2017, 11:28:42 PM »
There was some discussion about this shroud (baffle) a short time ago when a white SS396 was for sale. I thought some pictures might help as to what the baffle looks like. There's a drawing in the AIM as C-60 B4. There was a guy who made some reproductions a few years ago. This is one of them. Originals are extremely rare...Joe

Restoration / 1969 deluxe door panel window wipers
« on: June 19, 2017, 07:19:02 AM »
I posted this on the Yenko site also in hope that this problem will get better exposure. Thank you, Joe

I'm having Al Knoch redo my deluxe door panels for my 69 Camaro. My window wipers are too old & not pliable enough to reuse. The replacements I've seen, the "V" cross section is not a true "V". More like a check mark.

Is there a correct wiper for the deluxe door panel on the market?
Thank you, Joe

General Discussion / Camaro build date
« on: April 13, 2017, 11:25:01 AM »
My 69 Camaro has an 08E (69) on the Fisher body plate & the finish date according to NCRS is August 28th 1969. The 5th week of August started Sunday the 24th. Could a Camaro be built in this short of time or am I missing something here? Thank you, Joe

Restoration / Front rotors
« on: November 17, 2016, 02:22:58 PM »
On a previous post about front rotors it was mentioned that Camaro Central had rotor only without hub BRC-634. They no longer provide this part. It is serviced as an rotor/hub assembly. Is there anybody out there that offers just the rotor?
Thank you, Joe
