Title: 1969 Camaro Z28 exhaust hangers
Post by: wisemanz28 on May 27, 2012, 03:44:58 PM
What is the correct exhaust hanger setup on a 1969 Z28? Is it two long hangers on each side before the muffler and two rear tailpipe hangers that hold the tailpipes? I was told that my car also should have a hanger right behind the gas tank on the drivers side that would support the transverse muffler. Wouldn't that be a hanger for a single tailpipe setup?

The four hangers are shown in your '69 Assembly Manual in section N10, sheets A3 and A4.
