Title: Z11 Pace Car VIN
Post by: Chill Air on February 02, 2010, 01:20:07 AM
I have a Z11 Norwood car  VIN  124679N608317
It has a 02D build code. It appears to be one of the very first pace cars built.  Is there anyone who might be able to certify the car as to being at Indy?

ya, they seem to have the same old list from the Dr.  There are only 2 other cars on that list that were made before mine.  I am looking for another way to determine if it was at Indy or not.

Alan's old car. :)
Those are two very different requests. Unless some unknown GM documentation shows up, I don't think anyone can *certify* if your car was at Indy.
But, without a doubt in my mind, it was ordered by GM and was part of the fleet of pacers that was there.
BTW, I know of 4 pacers that were there that have VIN's before yours.

Alan Pound is working on it.
