Title: 69 coupe Shoulder belts
Post by: bc69 on January 16, 2010, 06:20:13 PM
Have 69 with clips on ceiling but no belt, and no place in headliner to mount. What does the coupe shoulder belt mount to?
Is there a place on all coupes to mount a belt if added. I have not run upon any trim and or fastners for coupe shoulder belts.
I did look at the belt artical in CRS, but there is no mention of mounting of the coupe shoulder belt on the 69's unless I just overlooked it.

There's a reinforcement welded to the inner quarter panel that has two anchor nuts welded to it for the two bolts that attach the end of the shoulder belt; press on the headliner in that area and you'll find it. Sounds like your headliner has been replaced and whoever did it elected not to re-install the shoulder belts.

bc69,

My headliner on my 69 is currently removed.  If you need pics and measurements to locate the mounting bracket...let me know and I can send them to you.

Do you still have the measurements for the location?  I could certainly use it.

Thanks
