Title: Correct clutch size and bell housing number
Post by: Camie on June 20, 2008, 12:16:10 AM
I just found this forum and I hope that someone can help me out.

I am restoring a 1967 SS-350 with a 4sp Muncie. The car was missing the bell housing and flywheel.
I am trying to keep the car as original as possible.
What is the correct number for the bell housing, and what flywheel and clutch size was corect for this car??

Thanks

Parts book shows the 621 bellhousing (14" diameter 168-tooth flywheel and 11" clutch) used on 350's and 396's, with the 403 bellhousing (12-3/4" 153-tooth flywheel and 10.5" clutch) used on everything else in '67-'68.
