Title: OER latex trunk seal
Post by: GaryL on March 20, 2008, 03:37:01 AM
I found out this past weekend that the OER latex trunk seal absorbs water like a sponge. It does not work like a seal to stop water. Anyone else have this problem and what are you using? The GM replacement seal is too hard to let the trunk lay flat. I will the Metro seal next.

The GM seal takes awhile to get memory. Mine is starting to come around after 3 years.
I suppose with more usage it would speed up the process.

I did not know the latex was water absorbent.

Me either. It was a real disappointment.
