Title: 1968 z/28 factory headers
Post by: john302 on March 01, 2008, 04:20:39 AM
Does anyone know how correct the repo 68z headers are? Is there more then one person making them? The only place I see them for sale is TA restorations in CA.  The persons name is Brent?   Anyone own a set ?  Thanks John

Buy them direct from Larry Christensen.  He is the guy having them made and they are very nice.  Remember that the Kustom versions were used in 1968.  Here is his number, 303-278-8536, I do have original photos of these in my 67-68 Z28 fact book

I have a set of Larry's reproduction '68 Kustom headers on my '69 Z equipped with "140" cam, crossram and K-66 ignition.  Mating them with my Gardner exhaust system was a snap.  Never having seen a set of original Kustom headers as supplied by the General, I am only speculating, but I bet that these repops are better quality than the originals!
