Is there a manufacturer that makes an intake gasket for my 69 Camaro 350 motor that follows the contour of the intake manifold along the cylinder head so that you do not see any of the gasket? Also, what is correct from the factory? Did GM have gasket material exposed or was it the exact pattern of the intake ports?

Maybe I can get you an answer. I ordered a set of GM gaskets on ebay. The set included head and intake gaskets... there is an ear that protrudes that is stamped GM according to the ad... When they arrive I'll let you know. Might be a week or two.

OK so I managed to secure a sealed original intake gasket kit GM in brand new condition!
#3931600
Gr. 3.270
The gasket correctly follows the shape of the intake manifold. No piece that sticks out over the cylinder head. Noticed on my car that the orange paint never sticks to this section... because the gasket my builder used was not like the original one. I painted it twice but it never really sticks well.
This NOS set would not stick out and you would be painting the cylinder head and not a gasket!
I would take a picture but I've misplaced the charger for my digi cam. When I get it I will post pics.
