Looked like a 1969 subframe but I have never seen one with the weldments below engine mounts (see pic) Could someone please help me identify where this frame was used originally??
thanks and sorry if there are duplicate posts,

looks like the remnants of a pontiac engine mount? no big deal grind it off.

Pontiac engine mounts bolt on in similar fashion to Chevy (different config of course and 4 pieces instead of two)...they are not welded...from the factory. Besides, that doesn't look like where a Pontiac mount would locate. Afraid I can't venture a guess other than that

Thanks for the input....I have no idea what the brackets are and I just wanted to check with someone before grinding them off. Guess they are not important so time to grab a grinder.
thanks again

That is the later subframe from say a 74 Nova. That is the bracket for the rear top bolt of mounts that use clamshells on the engine. I have a sub from a 74 Nova to go in my 67.
