Sharing with the group here. Last month a newly discovered '67 Yenko converted Camaro was found after 50+ years. It was disguised as a Z28! I've inspected and certified the car two weeks ago. It belongs to a personal friend of mine. The car will be sold, it has full docs and all original sheet metal, no rust! Loaded with factory installed options too, AO2, A67, G80 3.73, J52, L78, M21, N34, U35, U63, Z22 and Z23. Shipped new to Craig Chevrolet, Edmond, OK. Missing the original CE engine and M21 and that's it. The original rear axle and traction are still in the car. Car will need to be restored but it will be an easy restoration. WD had all of the paperwork on this car including the D. Harrell paperwork and it has the complete title history.
An amazing find in 2024.

Great News for the Hobby!

Outstanding! Jerry.... thanks for all you do for the hobby.

Butternut yellow. Cool find.
-
Hopefully I'm not overstepping my boundaries but photos were sent to me from a fb post. Thought I would include them.
-
looks like it might be Ralley Green now.
-
Approximate 3 month delta from 12 bolt manufacture date to 06D vehicle build. Another example of a real car not fitting in with the normative time intervals.

PJ is not a common axle code.

Agreed especially for '67. As for the guy on FB commenting on the "-" standing for stripe delete.. Not sure where he's getting his data. I was under the impression the "-" in Group 5 was for some type of Fleet/special order/scheduling call out..?.

Where is this FB discussion? I would like to read more on the car. Link to it perhaps?

I do not have the link as I am not on facebook. All I have are screenshots and I prefer not to post those.

great find SS RS 427 Yenko Super Camaro conversion by Dick Harrell
it is on Jerry's FB page https://www.facebook.com/jerry.macneish

The dash in the last field of the trim tag has been found some 67 Yenko Camaros
sometimes it is a dash with a code sometimes just a dash
It is similar to what is on 1967 Camaro pace cars
I believe it was used to show the special order

Adding photos from sYc here for the benefit of those of us that do not do fb.

Finally have permission to post my report and all the paperwork from this Yenko Supercar. I was banned from the SYC years ago, don't care. I have been a core member on CRG for over 25 years, so here is more data on this car and my report. Many are telling me this may be the find of the 21st century. An amazing rust free Yenko Camaro, not cut up and an easy car to restore. Contact me of you have any questions about the car and history.
