Title: Short driving video on BAT of 1969 Z28 with cross-ram manifold

Any comments from other cross-ram manifold owners? I'm impressed with the performance!

I also found JM,s report very interesting, most I see posted do not show all the pages. A little surprised the report lists the vin for the NOM incorrectly showing an N where it should be an L. My plan is to get both my 69,s certified by JM someday.

In the description they state it's a replacement, and I believe it's been discussed that those often aren't as good a fit as originals.

I'm pretty sure the car was raised by the bumper jack because the paint is marred-up where the bumper hook would contact it from underneath. I guess those repros won't stand up to the car being lifted. Real nice.

Post by: uscrichter on April 30, 2024, 07:38:37 PM: I just finished my '69 Z with a cross ram setup and it responds just like in the video, it's a bit scary when you exceed 45K RPM range, it just wants to take off! and like the one on BAT it like to idle around 1,200 RPM's and really loves to drink the high-octane fuel.

Post by: crossboss on September 13, 2024, 01:38:20 AM: Cross-Rams do need a higher idle because the lack of velocity in the lower RPMs. Also, a larger than normal pump shot is required to prevent lean stumbles. However, once tuned properly, they run awesome.
