Would anybody happen to know what month or week the factory began installing these belt clips on 1967 Camaro’s with a console.
-
I believe it was discussed here in the past but I did not find any old threads. As I recall, it was estimated they first showed up in late April or May, and sporadically.

My 04B LOS w/console and no gauges and 05B NOR w/factory console + gauges and both with standard interior and belts don't have those clips.

I have a 03B Los car and an 04A Nor car and both don’t have them, I have seen other cars with similar build dates as mine with them. So I am puzzled.
-
I would suspect some cars had them added over the years, since the vendors do not indicate they were a late year option, and some probably just liked the idea of having the clips.

From the site:
1967 Mid-Year Changes:
Seat belt clips on console: The clips were added in March, but usage appears intermittent through April.

Just seeing this. 2 more data points if it may matter to somebody...
1) 04D; LOS; 4-speed; deluxe int. w/console & gauges. STD seat belts. NO CLIPS.
2) 06D*; LOS; 4-speed; deluxe int. w/console & gauges. DLX seatbelts (5Y) WITH CLIPS.
* VERY LATE build- mid-July VIN#

My LOS built 67 RS/SS with gauges and deluxe interior built 03C (third week of March) has NO clips.

My 04A LOS 67 Pace car does not have clips.
