how are the cowl bowls painted under the cowl vent on 1968 z28s with white stripes
I am seeing some 1968 z28s cowl bowls painted all white, just as the stripes, with wiper arms black.
Thanks in advance.

Only LOS cars were painted that way.

There has been some discussion about UPC 1 (BODY) / A2 WS Wiper Motor & Linkage, A3 Wiper Blades, Transmission and Cowl Vent panel & RPO Z28 striping and potential overspray on the black linkage at the different plants and how it relates to the assembly process and the potential for this detailing feature.

The inside of the cowl of any 68 should be stripe color. The linkage was installed after paint.
